Can you believe that I just photographed my 50th wedding this past weekend? I can hardly believe it myself! As a Toledo wedding photographer serving Fremont and Tiffin, Ohio, I have met so many amazing couples in my business. From the time they book with me and I shoot their engagement session, to capturing their reception exit and delivering their gallery, I love my couples from start to finish!

Look How Far I’ve Come

If you had told me back in 2014 that I would become a wedding photographer, I would have laughed out loud! I never thought I would make it this far! I’m still pinching myself that this job I love is real! I have come such a long way, and I’m so proud of where this business has taken me. However, believe me when I say, that my success didn’t happen overnight. It took some good years to get where I am today. I can easily tell you that I absolutely love this job! I’m so honored that I have the opportunity to serve brides and grooms through everything that I have learned about photography.

I count myself blessed that I get to take photos of such lovely couples. I do all I can to make them look and feel good about themselves! My couples receive the best quality photos in their gallery. These aren’t just with photos that will collect “digital dust” on their computer. They are excited to have the kind of photos that they can hang in their house. to share with future generations and remember one of the best days of their lives!

You may be wondering why I do this job that I love? It’s because I love serving my clients and taking care of them. They deserve to have the best wedding day experience, hands down! If I have fifty weddings under my belt, why would I not want to share my expertise with my couples?! When I don’t like a pose, I’ll change it. If I’m asked a general wedding day question, I’ll answer it! I make sure that my couples know that this is their wedding day, not mine. So if I suggest a pose and my clients don’t like it, then I change to something else. However, my couples almost always love my ideas and trust me to guide them towards the best poses.

How I Book My Wedding Couples

When a couple inquiries with me about their wedding date, they either fill out my contact form or send me a direct email. I respond with a series of questions so I can learn a little about them and see if we are a good fit. The next step is explaining my contract and when their payments would be due. Once my wedding couple is ready to seal the deal and I receive their signed contract and the first payment, they receive a special surprise from me in the mail.

We find an agreeable date for their engagement session. They prepare for it by reading their Bridal Guide on what to wear. I send my couple two more questionnaires to gather more details and who they want in their family formals shot list. Once a wedding day timeline is confirmed, then it’s time to wait for the actual wedding day. After I photograph their wedding, I do my best to get my couple their photos in month’s time. Once their gallery is delivered, then we begin conversations about the wedding album. Their album is delivered about 8-10 weeks later and their time with me is complete!
