The wedding of MaLinda and Brian Gibbs was such a lovely ceremony and reception! Their winter wedding at The Ballroom at Park Lane in Cleveland, Ohio ended up being my last wedding of 2022! 🥳 This was such a wonderful way to end the year for my business! MaLinda was very organized which made my job so much easier! It ended up being a really cold winter day, but all the celebrations and dancing made up for the freezing weather.

If you follow my blog, you will have seen the yellow airplane engagement session I shot with MaLinda and Brian on their property. In addition to taking photos in front of Brian’s airplane, MaLinda and Brian set up a picnic with charcuterie boards and wine. We had so much fun at this session, so I knew that their wedding was going to be wonderful! I’ve known Brian for quite some time, as my dad is a customer of his business, Gibbs Aero Spray. Brian’s company applies an aerial application onto crops such as corn, soybeans, and vegetables.

MaLinda knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding and reception. 🥰 MaLinda and Brian opted for a first look because they wanted to immediately go from their ceremony to the reception. This is such a great idea for any couple planning their wedding. You get to spend more time with your guests at the reception and you don’t keep them waiting as long. MaLinda also had a first look with her son – so sticking cute! Brian and MaLinda got ALL their photos done before the reception, including bridal party, family portraits, and couples portraits. 👏🏻 What am amazing feeling!

MaLinda and Brian had their ceremony and reception in the same location at Park Lane, so the guests enjoyed a short cocktail hour upstairs while the room was being flipped. Me and my second shooter Jen were happy to help! It takes a village to put a wedding together, and everyone came together to help switch the room for the reception. MaLinda had all of the table decorations organized and separated in advance. It really helped us, the wedding planner, and venue staff flip the room even faster. This reception was so dreamy! 😍 They had a champagne tower for all their guests to grab a glass on the way to their seat. Each table was decorated with white, green and gold elements, complete with filled vases of white roses and white candlesticks ensconced by glass holders. They even had bottles of Gibbs wine for their wedding guests. 😉

In addition to a first dance with her dad and Brian, MaLinda had a first dance with her son at the reception. ❤️ It was such a sweet moment between the two of the them! MaLinda and Brian had such a lovely wedding! I’m so happy that they trusted me to capture beautiful images for them!
