Amanda and Austin’s Fremont, Ohio fall engagement session was gorgeous! There are so many beautiful spots to shoot in Fremont! From tall fields to bridges and parks, northwest Ohio has so much to offer!

Amanda and Austin actually met when Austin was dating Amanda’s friend at the time. They had actually dated back in high school and then found their way back to each other three years after they graduated. They both enjoy traveling and doing fun activities with their daughter Callie. I got to meet their precious daughter back in January when we all met for coffee for the first time. Austin proposed when they were on a trip in West Virginia. They had gone four-wheeling and at one of the stops he asked Amanda to marry him. It actually did take him a good minute to pop the question! 😉 but that’s okay, I get the nerves! Amanda and Austin enjoy watching TV together. Their favorite shows are The Rookie and Yellowstone. Their favorite restaurant is Nagoya, which is where they enjoy most date nights together.

Our first photo location was the Tindall Bridge in Fremont. This bridge is a great spot in Fremont! I love the architecture and the rocks UNDER the bridge (as long as it didn’t recently rain and the water is too high!) 🙃 While we were posing next to the water, Amanda and Austin wrapped a blanket around them to keep them “warm”. It wasn’t by any means cold but it’s a fun way for my couples to snuggle together to get some cute photos.

Our next photo location was the Chudzinski Johannsen Park, also in Fremont, Ohio, just next door…literally. I shot another session here in August, and I love all of the overgrown weeds. Tall grass is favorite among photographers because it gives the photo some texture and diffuses the sun light. While we were there, Amanda wanted to include some shots of them drinking some beers together! 🍻 This ended up being a really fun moment in their engagement session. I love when couples plan something unique for their photos! I ALWAYS encourage my couples to let me know of any special ideas they have for their session. Whether it’s bringing a bottle of wine or your dog to the session, it’s all up to you! We can make it happen! 👏🏻
