Shooting a summer wedding in Ohio is always fun, especially when the couple has their wedding at the lake! Olivia and Jeffrey’s intimate wedding at Apple Valley Lake in Howard, Ohio was such a beautiful day. They celebrated with close family and friends. The lake and surrounding landscape made for such pretty photos! Comparatively, the Apple Valley Lake clubhouse was a nice spot for their wedding ceremony and reception because of all the natural light.

Olivia and Jeffrey first met through Olivia’s sister five years ago and ever since, they have been stuck like glue! One of their favorite activities is watching a movie together at the end of the day. Evidently, Olivia is either laughing or crying after any movie Jeffrey picks out. No matter the movie, this is special time that they can spend together. They also enjoy trying out new Mexican restaurants together. I love me some good Mexican food too! Olivia’s favorite part of being married so far is that it’s given her a whole new meaning to the word “love.” It’s definitely something different than she has felt before.

Olivia created her own bridal bouquet for the wedding. She chose dark pinks and oranges, ivories, and sage green accents. The bridesmaids dresses coordinated with their wedding colors, wearing a pretty rust color perfect for a summer wedding!

Make Your Wedding About YOU

Olivia and Jeffrey found some fun ways to make their wedding special at Apple Valley Lake! Outside the club house, the entire bridal party posed on the playground set becauuse who doesn’t want to be kids again? This photo was adorable and a cute idea! 😉 Olivia and Jeffrey didn’t opt for a first look, but Olivia planned one for her and her dad as they are very close! They even both wore silver glitter shoes. During the reception, their daddy daughter dance started out slow, but then they transitioned into an amazing choreographed dance! You could definitely tell that Olivia used to be a cheerleader. 😏 I love it! *I always tell people, you can’t take the cheerleader out of me!”

These types of unique moments are what make a wedding special! ❤️ Even all of the amazing food at their reception was made by their families!
