Miranda and Andrew had such a great time celebrating with all of their family and friends at their gorgeous fall wedding in Fostoria, Ohio. I first met with this couple over coffee two years over when they first started planning their wedding. I’ve gotten to know Miranda’s mom through my in-laws. *Thank you Lakota friends! 😂 Miranda and Andrew got married at Scott Trinity United Methodist Church, and they held their reception at Stacy’s Place. From their pretty fall wedding colors to taking photos with Miranda’s horse, their day was so special and beautiful! 🐴

I could tell when I met Andrew and Miranda that they’re a quiet couple. However, I’m someone who is comfortable in any situation, and it wasn’t long into their engagement session last fall that they opened up. It was great learning how they both interacted and talked with each other. I got to learn & see the TRUE Miranda and Andrew. Not the quiet couple I met at first. 🙃 It’s weird to think that a photographer is “studying” the couple while shooting, but it really is part of the job! I pick up on a lot. 😉

After their engagement session, we got to work on her customized wedding timeline. This is something I do for every couple. I send out two questionnaires out so I can learn as much as I can about your wedding day. This really helps build your customized timeline, that perfectly fits your needs. Wedding days go by so fast! Before you know it, you’re dancing the night away at your reception and heading off to your honeymoon. I make sure my bride and grooms know that they don’t have to worry about a thing! 👏🏻

Miranda and Andrew chose to do a first look! This is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day, for those couples who choose this option. First looks are amazing for a few reasons:

  1. You have more time together and more photos! LITERALLY, you get more photos!!
  2. It gives you both a chance to get out ALLLLL of your nerves out before the ceremony. *Don’t worry guys, you will STILL be just has happy when you see her at the end of the aisle.
  3. There is more time to talk, hug and kiss each other, which is something you can’t do at the altar.
  4. You save so much time! Your guests don’t have to wait and can go straight to the reception.

These are all of the reasons why Miranda and Andrew opted for a first look. Their guests went right to the reception hall after the ceremony. The only pictures we had to take after the ceremony were family photos. Andrew and Miranda got A LOT more photos of themselves than an average couple. Andrew got to really enjoy that special time with his “future wife” before the ceremony even started. How amazing is that?! 🤗

Some brides get overwhelmed by the day, so remember to ENJOY!! Even if you don’t opt for a first look, you can still have an amazing wedding! ❤️ Miranda and Andrew weren’t worried about anything, and they trusted me to get the photos I needed. They were relaxed the entire day and they were so much fun to be around!

Congratulations Andrew and Miranda! I loved capturing your gorgeous fall wedding in Fostoria, Ohio! Be sure to inquire with me so we can schedule your wedding next year!
