I think a photo session with any type of fruit is just adorable! Whether is peaches, strawberries or apples, the photos turn out so cute. Maybe it’s the models that go with it and not the fruit? 😍 😏 For this session, it was strawberries and it was a 2nd birthday strawberry session, for my dear niece Lila Kay.

We took these at their family’s strawberry patch, Avers Acres Strawberries in Gibsonburg, Ohio. From pumpkins in the fall (and homemade donuts!) to fresh produce during the summer (and of course strawberries), they have a little but of everything. Check them out! 😉

Lila Kay is always a perfect little model. 🥰 When I ask her to do something, she does it. She struggled a little bit with the “hands on the hips” pose. But between her dad and I, we helped her out and adored her little poses that she struck. You are a model Miss Lila!!

After the field photos I was determined to do some “strawberry bath” photos during this birthday session. WATER photos with kids are SO MUCH FUN. I love capturing the water when it’s splashing in the air. 💦 Add a kid’s smile to that photo, PERFECTION! 👏🏼

This is why I do what I do! I love seeing the perfect smiles, freezing the moment and capturing the laughs. Whether it’s a child, family or couple I always strive to get that genuine smile…and if you have had a session with me before, you have seen this! 😉 I will say the silliest stuff or talk weird about the family member next to me, just to see that smile.
