Running a business with a full time job can be exhausting, rewarding and fun all at the same time. I stay up late to edit photos, I work on the weekends and I’m constantly going going going. But you know what, I like it. I enjoy being busy and I enjoy working in the wedding industry.
Weddings are FUN! Yes they are long days on my feet but the products I deliver at the end of the day make all the sweat and tiredness a distant memory!
One memory that Ryan and Kayla will always remember is their first look. For those of you that are my brides, you know that I highly encourage a first look. Why is that you ask? Not only will photos after the ceremony go by quicker but the nerves that each of the bride and groom hold will be calmed BEFORE the ceremony.
I have shot weddings where we have completed ALL of the portraits (bride & groom, bridal party, family) before the ceremony and then after the ceremony, we were able to go straight to the reception. No wait time in between!
All of this is possible with a first look and a detailed wedding day timeline – which as some of you may know I help you with.
So Ryan and Kayla, your first look was beautiful! The sun was shining and Ryan’s nerves were completely calmed after he turned around and saw you for the first time. The first time seeing you in a gorgeous wedding dress, in a private location….just the two of you!
Thank you so much for a fun-filled day! Despite the wind, the outdoor ceremony and the barn reception were both beautiful! Thank you both for working with me, allowing me to pose you throughout the day and trusting me on your big day. I wish you two the best of luck in the future!
