Having a destination wedding is really exciting, but there’s nothing like a big party with all of your family and friends! Allie and Josh had a great time getting married just the two of them but then came back for a country wedding reception right Risingsun, Ohio.

A Destination Wedding and Celebration at Home

Allie and Josh took a trip to Antigua for a destination wedding on June 14^th. Getting married at a location with sand and waves was a fun way for them to start their lives together. When they started making plans a year ago, Allie reached out to me and asked if I would shoot her wedding reception back home on the Dennis Family farm. I of course said yes! Allie and Josh held their reception two weeks after they returned from their trip. Allie and Josh were all in for having a fun celebration with everyone they knew! Their reception was the perfect opportunity for their family and friends to celebrate their recent nuptials.

This sweet couple met through friends of friends. While working with Josh and Allie, I could easily tell that these two were meant for each other. I absolutely loved shooting their fall engagement session (follow to see their photos)! They have been so easy to work with from start to finish! From the way she laughs at his jokes and smiles at him to the way he looks at her, you just know that they are going to live a happy life together. ❤️ I’ve known Josh for many years now, so I already knew a lot of people at their wedding reception. It was great catching up with old friends!
