One of my favorite reasons I love being a photographer is I get to work with some of the nicest and kind people where I live! This is especially true when I’ve grown up with either the bride or groom and or have known them through friends of friends. AJ and Rebecca’s engagement session in downtown Tiffin was the perfect shoot to welcome the spring season! AJ’s family has always been a big supporter of me, my business and my entire family. I am honored that he and Rebecca asked me to be their wedding photographer!

Northwest Ohio Engagement Photos

I remember the days of being a kid on the farm. During the summer months when we weren’t in school, I would escape and go spend time at AJ’s house. His mom was a teacher and her and my mom were friends. Those were the best kind of days! We got to chill, relax and not have to worry about a single thing. Now we are all grown up, have jobs, families and living this thing we call “life.”

AJ and Rebecca met online. She had posted a story about a gift she’d made for her kids while student teaching. AJ commented on her post and asked what grade she taught. One of Rebecca’s really good friends encouraged AJ to reach out to Rebecca. She knew they would be perfect for each other. They got engaged last December, and he proposed the same way he asked her to be his girlfriend – with some flowers and a cute little note. 🥰

We had a great time taking their engagement photos in downtown Tiffin. I love the exposed red brick on the side of the buildings with the twinkle lights in the background. From the colorful doors, tall columns and cute sidewalks, downtown Tiffin always has so many great spots to offer for engagement pictures. There wedding is taking place at Arlington Acres near Tiffin, Ohio – which I’m so excited to shoot here! 🤤It’s such a beautiful venue on a gorgeous piece of property…and I may even know the owner. 😜 (Their very first bridal show is happening on April 30th, which I will be there! 🥳 Check the event out!)
