I absolutely loved capturing Taylor and Brett’s fall wedding at White Star Park in Gibsonburg! This couple lives just down the road from downtown, where we actually shot their engagement session. I adore Brett and Taylor because of their strong sense of community. They have created so many friendships along the way, and those friends and their family were there to celebrate for their wedding day! 🥳
Brett and Taylor have been together for so long, and I was honored that they asked me to be their wedding photographer. This couple has been in numerous weddings that I have shot. They know how I work during a wedding day. From gathering large bridal parties to organizing the family photos, I make sure that my couple is my number one priority. I treat my bride and groom with respect, understanding, and I’m their biggest cheerleader. I’m not just there to shoot your wedding photos. You should have a connection with your wedding photographer, because you will be working together a lot. I will be there to hold your bouquet, fluff your dress, fix your hair, and adjust your veil! 👰🏼♀️
Getting to know this couple has been so much fun! 👏🏻 I have shot their friends’ weddings, so I feel like I have known them for years! Brett and Taylor’s fall wedding at White Star Park was such a beautiful day! The bridesmaids wore emerald green and the groomsmen wore blue suits with emerald green ties to match the dresses. It was a little windy, but their photos turned out great! 🍂 They held their ceremony at the White Star Barn and their reception at Meadowbrook Park. Taylor made some special touches to her wedding day, including wearing adorable white glitter shoes with pink satin laces and wearing some jewelry that belonged to family members. Taylor’s bridesmaids also had the very similar shoes, that she MADE, so everyone could match! ❤️ Taylor had a first look with both her parents and a first touch with Brett before the ceremony. Brett and Taylor also displayed framed photos at the ceremony of family members that have passed away.
During the ceremony at the barn, they had a special moment where they both added dirt to a large tree that they are planting in their yard. 🌳 They had a large bridal party, but it was such a fun group! Everyone was so nice and they treated my with such respect. I loved shooting couples portraits with Taylor and Brett! The fall colors were so pretty. 😍 One of my favorite bridal accessories is a free and flowing veil. It adds so much personality to the wedding photos!
During Brett and Taylor’s reception, I got a photo with me and SIX of my past wedding couples! I can’t believe how many weddings I have shot over the years! 🤩 Referrals and word of mouth is so important in this business, and I’m so thankful that so many people have trusted me with shooting their weddings! Taylor and Brett spent the remainder of their reception dancing and having a great time with all of their guests! 💃🏼
Congratulations to you both! It was such an honor to be your wedding photographer! I am already booking dates for next year AND 2024! If you want a photographer that’s going to be your hype girl, send me an email so we can plan your big day! 😉
