This intimate wedding was another one that was changed by the Coronavirus, but yet again, this couple didn’t let it phase them! Only extended family was able to attend, but that just made everything feel even more special. And all of the family was so supportive and caring and loving…it was so amazing to see!
Future brides: do not hesitate to reach out to family members during these hard times!! They’re always going to be there for you and be willing to help no matter what, so take advantage of all the love and support they’re offering!
The day started out with a catholic ceremony, and then we headed over to Schedel Gardens in Elmore for portraits. The gardens have 17 acres of beautiful landscapes…stunning greenery, gorgeous flowers, and some water features! We ended up with some absolutely gorgeous photos there, and I really could’ve stayed all day! Thank you Paula and Austin for both being troopers during our portrait time together on that super hot day!
Some fun facts about this day and my relationship with the bride: Paula and I used to cheer competitively together on a traveling cheerleading team, and small world, Paula and I are actually distant cousins! Her mom and my mom are cousins, so I’ve known her my whole life.
When we were cheering together we were actually car pooling buddies. Whether it was practices or competitions she was always a great traveling companion. It’s kind of ironic that I used to pick her up, help her out at the cheer gym and now, years later, I was able to help her on one of the biggest days of her life – her wedding day!
Austin & Paula, I’ve been so honored to be a part of your lives and now to be a part of your big day. I can’t wait to see where marriage and life takes you, and I’m so excited for you two as you start this new journey! Congratulations again!!
