Noe and Kiara celebrated their beautiful September fall wedding at the stunning Christy House in Fremont, Ohio. This was also the very same location where we captured their engagement portraits last year. Their day was filled with love, laughter and beautiful fall weather!

A Historic Fremont, Ohio Wedding Venue

The Christy House is undeniably one of the most unique wedding spaces in Fremont, Ohio. This large historic venue is full of character with countless bedrooms, endless hallways, and more bathrooms than you can imagine! With the girls and guys getting ready on different sides of the house, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, relax, and enjoy the morning.

After capturing their detail photos, the bridesmaids slipped into their dresses just in time for Kiara’s emotional first look with her girls. But the moment that truly set the tone for the day came shortly after when the couple chose to do a “first touch” instead of a first look. I found the perfect spot between the many doors of the home. Kiara surprised Noe with a pin honoring his late mother, allowing her memory to be a part of his wedding day. It was one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever witnessed. 💜

While we waited for the ceremony to begin, I took the groomsmen outside for their portraits near the garage area. Then it was time for the outdoor ceremony. The location for this was set in the grassy area just beyond the garage. The weather could not have been more perfect. Sunshine, shade, and a gentle breeze surrounded them as they exchanged vows and blended their family through a sand ceremony with their daughters.

Family portraits followed, right up front in the alter. After that we captured some beautiful willow-tree portraits, walking shots in front of the Christy House, and beautiful veil-throwing moments of the newlyweds. Thank you to the wedding party for working with Jen and I, being flexible and being down for our crazy ideas.

After portraits around the Christy House we had some time to spare before the reception, so the wedding party hopped on the party bus and we headed to the Rutherford B. Hayes Center for additional portraits. The grounds there are always beautiful, from the stone steps in front of the museum to the drive leading up to the Hayes house.

A Reception Full of Love at The Victor’s Center

The reception was held just down the road at The Victor’s Center. Noe and Kiara chose to include “photo group shots,” where guests came to us rather than us moving from table to table. This helps keep lighting consistent and creates a smoother experience, especially in a busy reception space. 📸

One of the funniest moments of the night came during the garter removal. 😉 Since Noe is a truck driver and mechanic, he walked in with his toolbox and drill in hand as a joke to help him remove the garter. It was such a personal and hilarious touch! 👌🏼 I loved it!

Noe and Kiara’s wedding day was heartfelt, joyful, and full of personality. It was such an honor to capture their story in Fremont, Ohio, from their engagement session to their wedding day and everything in between. Thank you both for honoring me with documenting your amazing celebration of love! To book my wedding photography services, be sure to send me a message to get you on the calendar!
