What a hot and humid day we had for Melissa and Andrew’s summer wedding at The Village Barn venue in Monroeville, Ohio. It was in stark contrast to their fall engagement session last year at Norwalk Reservoir with the cooler temperatures and orange trees (to see those beautiful orange photos, click here! 😉) However, they were both troopers and everyone got through the day without passing out LOL! Andrew and Melissa were such a classy couple to work with and their day was filled with so much love!
They decided to have the wedding and reception all in one location. The Village Barn wedding venue in Monroeville is relatively new to the area. Their building has a beautiful white modern exterior with an inside rustic-looking barn, perfect for wedding celebrations. They include an outdoor area behind the barn as a nice location for fair-weather ceremonies. Melissa and Andrew’s simple but classic ivory, gold, and sage green reception details were a lovely compliment to the barn. Their cupcake table was to die for with so many varieties from which to choose! In addition to this being their wedding day, the celebration was extra special for Melissa and Andrew because their daughter was their flower girl. ❤️
When the wedding was over and my coverage was done for the day, I spoke with Melissa before I left. She told me that I was hands down the best choice they made for their wedding photographer. She raved on about how well I did and how I kept everything in order and professional all at the same time. These are things that as a wedding photographer you long to hear from your clients! 🥹 Andrew was initially worried about the spending more money on a wedding photographer. However, they both said it was worth it! 🥰 *I love this job! 🥺
Everyone knows that weddings aren’t cheap and neither are wedding photographers. But when you’re planning a once in a lifetime event like this, you have to remember that the photos are the only thing you’ll have afterwards. A wedding photographer is more than just a photographer. She (or he) is a memory maker, the one who will document the most important day in you life, and she may just become a new friend. Choosing someone to capture your wedding day needs to be someone with education, knowledge, experience and PASSION. Your wedding photographer will want to pour their heart and soul into documenting your special day because they know that these photos are what generations to come will see. ❤️
Thank you Melissa and Andrew for your kind words and for allowing me to be your wedding photographer! If you are looking for someone who fits the description above, then I’m your girl! 🙋🏽♀️ Fill out the contact form on my website – I would love to meet you! ☺️
