I’m so thrilled to show another beautiful fall engagement session! Look at those colors?! Every season is wonderful because even in good ‘ole Ohio, I can find the beauty in the simplest things. Someone once told me, “Oh, you call that art? We call that junk!” I literally laughed out loud! It’s amazing the difference between two people’s perceptions. We were lucky to capture their session at Bradner Reserve in Bradner, Ohio. I have shot here multiple times for all kinds of sessions, and I just love this area.
I can look at a single orange tree in a parking lot and make your engagement session look like we were around a FOREST full of orange trees. That’s the “beauty” of my job. I love looking at things and thinking to myself – oh I know exactly how I want my couple to pose in front of that building! I can already visually see in my mind how the session is going to look.
This session was a lot of fun! Miranda and Andrew brought their dog, Cedar and he loved running around. I got the cutest photo of him kissing mom and dad! We put the ring on his nose for a photo – it kind of worked, with the help of mom holding his head.
If you are dog lovers, I’m perfectly fine with you bringing your furry friend to the session! Every session is different and that’s awesome because only you can make YOUR session unique. If you just adore your dog(s) and want photos with your pets, that’s A- OKAY with me! Make sure you bring treats so I can reward him or her, as well as a toy. This helps me keep their attention while shooting. If you need help with your dog to keep them from running or if he or she is hyper, then don’t be afraid to ask a friend or family member to help out during the session. They could come to your session during the last twenty minutes and we could make sure to grab some dog photos.
Thank you Andrew and Miranda for a such a wonderful fall session. Thanks for working with my crazy fall schedule. I’m so glad we got to capture those bright orange trees before they turned brown. You two are awesome!
