Some love stories start in the most unexpected places, and Max and Laci’s is one of them! Between the bright lights of Las Vegas and the quiet farmland of Bradner, Ohio, this sweet couple was meant to meet each other! With beautiful trails, cute bridges, and lush fields at sunset, Max’s family farm was the perfect location for their engagement session.

A Small Family Farm Full of Love

I met Max Zyski through his mom and brother. They both work in the agriculture industry with me at Sunrise Cooperative. Max is a veggie farmer who grows brussels sprouts, pumpkins, peppers, cabbage, soybeans, corn, and pickles! He grew up on this family farm, and his parents still live there. It is a whole family operation in Bradner, Ohio, where everyone helps, which is always great to see.

Laci does office and admin work for an electric company. Once Max and Laci became engaged, she moved to Ohio to be closer to him as they planned their wedding. She jumps in on the farm to help Max and the family whenever needed. She’s going to make a wonderful farm wife. 😊

A Chance Meeting at a Dive Bar

Max and Laci met at the Stage Door Casino, a dive bar in Las Vegas. After their initial meeting, Max flew back about a month later for their first real date. They went to a steakhouse on the Strip, followed by a night on Fremont Street full of laughs and people-watching. But here’s the fun part: the day before that trip, Laci got nervous and asked him to cancel, which he did. However, she changed her mind. It’s a good thing she did, because now they get to spend the rest of their lives together!

When they aren’t working the farm together, Max and Laci are Toledo hockey fans. They love finding new restaurants for date nights and prioritize time with family and friends whenever life slows down enough to let them. Max was asked what he loves most about Laci. He loves her smile, the way she cares for him, and her cooking, even though he loves to give her a hard time about it. Sometimes it can be tricky to pose a couple with very different heights, but Max and Laci only make it adorable!

Laci and Max’s engagement session was so much fun, and if it’s anything like their wedding, it’s going to be the best day! Congratulations, Max and Laci! Your love story is just getting started. 🥂
