Just recently, I have had the privilege to capture three beautiful senior girls in front of my camera. It’s so important to make sure that you tell your story in a senior session! Each high school senior tells their own story in their own unique way, depending on their life and school experiences. These three seniors included elements such as 4-H and rifles, ballet slippers, and farm animals. All three of them knocked their senior sessions out of the park! I really enjoy shooting high school seniors because I get to learn more about them and hear and see their stories in their photoshoot. I may have just met them, but within an hour I pick up on their quirks, humor, take note of their real smile and so much more!

Audra | Old Fort High School

I was absolutely blown away by all of the awards, and trophies that Audra has won throughout her years in 4-H and FFA. She was able to tell her story through all of these elements as well as including some livestock animals. As a former 4-H and FFA member, I know each and every one of those banners and trophies has a story to tell. You create important memories in the show ring and that experience is invaluable. From learning about responsibility, bookkeeping and even meeting new friends during the years competing in 4-H and FFA, Audra proudly showed her journey in her senior session! In addition, we also planned time for pictures in their creek and flower field so Audra had plenty of variety of photos. 🌸

Salah | Tiffin Columbian High School

I loved the beauty and diversity of Salah’s senior session! Salah has always had a passion for dancing. She has been dancing since she was three years old. This year marks fifteen years that she has been involved. She has mostly done ballet. However, she also tried jazz, tap, cheer and dance throughout the years. We both knew that we had to include her ballet attire for her session. 🩰 I loved the balance between the rough brick and pavement of the alley and her gentle movements dancing in her tutu. In addition to shooting in Downtown Gibsonburg, Ohio, we moved to Silver Rock Quarry for some nature images and more outfit changes.

Claudia | Clyde High School

Claudia is such a talented senior with her shooting abilities! 🔫 She is a competitive shooter and has been involved in air rifle and smallbore matches all over the country. Claudia has even competed in Puerto Rico and Estonia. She qualified for Junior Olympics five times. In addition to competitive shooting, she’s involved in several clubs at school including Spanish, Science, Key Club, TLC, and Student Council.

She is still deciding between Ole Miss, Ohio State, West Point Military Academy and Air Force Academy for her college education. Claudia has plans to study Exercise Science and is really excited to be competing at the Collegiate level as a member of an Air Rifle team. She hopes to make it to the NCAA Championships one day! We of course planned her senior session with photos of her holding her beautiful lime green rifle as well as taking pictures down by the creek and a flower field at Creek Bend Farm.

I love how each high school senior is involved in different activities that reflect their unique personality. This is their time to tell their own story of how they want to celebrate their senior year! Whether it’s a competitive sport, an FFA project or something that you are passionate about, that’s what I want to see in your session. Tell ME, YOUR story. 🫵🏼

To book your senior session this year, let’s check my schedule and find a date that works for you!
