A summer picnic combined with photos with an fun yellow airplane is the perfect recipe for an photo shoot! MaLinda and Brian’s airplane engagement session in Fremont, Ohio was an absolute dream! I loved the colors they chose for their session! One of the ways I connect with my couples is to send them my bridal guide after they book their wedding with me. There is a section specifically on what to expect for your engagement session, including what to wear. I encourage my clients to wear light and complimentary colors. My guide is an important resource for my clients, so I was excited when they both showed up in beautiful outfits! MaLinda wore a white flowy dress with Brian complimenting her by wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants. They continued with a similar casual outfit later on when they took photos with Brian’s airplane.

I have known Brian for some time, but was still getting to know MaLinda through mutual friends. Brian and his dad own an agricultural aero-spray business called Gibbs Aero Spray, which is right outside of Fremont, Ohio. They apply aerial application onto crops such as corn, soybeans, and vegetables. Farmers call them to spray their crop production products when they want an aerial application applied. The two airplanes that Brian and his dad use are actually both yellow. Even though our family is involved with agriculture, I actually learned something new: yellow airplanes, called air tractors, are more favorable as they are suited better for crop dusting work. 🚜

Brian and MaLinda and are just the sweetest couple and they were so easy to work with! MaLinda had the idea for a “picnic” theme session, and I was on board the minute she mentioned it. I have always wanted to do this for one of my sessions! They brought a charcuterie board and even a bottle of wine labeled with their soon to be married name! I made sure to take some cool ring shots on top of the cork and the bottle. 😉 Their photos in front of the plane was so much fun! My agriculturist nerd in me was coming out! 🤤 The airplane almost stole the show from them! 😋

The best thing about booking your engagement session is that it’s completely and totally about you!! Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. If you have a really neat idea, but not sure if it’s going to work, I am all ears! No idea is going to be too silly or weird, because I want to hear all of your plans! We will find a way to make it work! 😏
